Hat Head National Park

From Hunter Valley, our next escapade is the The Hat Head National Park. The best time to traverse is early in the morning.

We stop over Taree Service Centre where we bought food in our way to Hat Head. You'll also find here the information centre. We stayed at Hat Head Holiday Park.

The place is quite and relaxing. You'll find the staff friendly and accommodating.

We checked out the beach and it was - great!  Safe for everyone to take a plunge, even for kids to swim. The water is shallow and if it is low tide the water is red. When the tide is high, the water transform into a crystal clear. The waves were jiving friendly. Everything absolutely sum into a perfect holiday!

Our Britz Renegade was a big help. Settled everything and enjoyed the afternoon with wines and olives, cheese, crackers and some sweetie for the young boys.

The beach was winking blue and we did not leave Hat Head without enjoying it. The kids even sting ray meandering in the shallow waters.

You'll find amenities like the playground, barbecue area with electric barbecues with table and seats, toilet and showers, and laundry room. The reception area has a store where you can buy things you need for fishing.

Adjacent to the Hat Head Holiday Park is the Bowling Club with an old fashioned restaurant, we had a sumptuous taste of Roasted Pork and Grilled Steak.

We are all looking forward to another day! This time we haven't planned our next destination so went straight to the reception area to ask for a recommendation, one visitor overheard our enquiry and suggested Sawtell is another place with pretty beaches but without a decent place to stay. He suggested that we should stay in Emerald Beach Holiday Park if we want a quite place and if we are traveling with kids.
