Sawtell and BIG4 Emerald Beach Holiday Park

Before heading to Emerald Beach Holiday Park, we had lunch in Sawtell as suggested to us by a co-guest in Hat Head, and without a doubt, it is a fantastic coastal town and the beach is superb!

After lunch, we headed to Emerald Beach Holiday Park for an overnight stay. It is located on the Fisherman’s Drive in Emerald Beach. It is a shore front park and it looking real nice and healthy with all its amenities.

If you are bringing kids, this is a recommended place to stay in town. Everything in the park is well maintained, their recreational facilities are varied for all ages. Kids can fancy on the playground, game room and jumping pillows. There are courts for tennis and basketball. Go carts are for hire if you want them.

Emerald Beach Holiday Park has the best amenities we've ever seen in our entire trip! Modern in style and absolutely very clean.

Campers have options for ensuite camping, powered sites or unpowered sites starting at $30 per night. Or if you prefer a more pampering option, you can go for a villa or a cabin accommodation.

We saw kangaroos roaming around the park, you'd smile to see them without the surrounding fence.
