Dreamworld Theme Park - Gold Coast, Australia

And the last but not the least destination of our trip - Dreamwold located in Coomera Queensland. The finale and the highlight of our Sydney to Brisbane roadtrip.

Everybody says that Dreamworld is the best place to go if you are looking for a safe adventure. And it is indeed true to our expectation.

We consumed the whole afternoon with all the rides and the beauty of the animals.

The Thunder River Rapids Ride, The Claw and the Giant Drop are never to be missed! Although Giant Drop and The Claw are perhaps not recommended for people with heart ailments.

Thunder River Rapids Ride

Our first ride at DreamWorld!

The ride is ideal for families, it does have a bit of a thrill but it is not scary. Just be ready to get wet!

The next thing we tried is the Giant Drop. Awesome! It is like you are in heaven for once and the earth suddenly pulls you down!

The tower stands 119 meters tall and has 39 storeys. When you were already on the top, you will be sitting up there for a while just enough to see the overview of Gold Coast before the huge DROP! They say that when you take this ride you have to have a spare underwear. Luckily, all of us from 120 metres above the ground, landed without wetting our undies.

The Claw

This is a tummy losing ride, different from the rest. You will be seated in a circle then you will be swinging back and forth while twisting in circles as well. It makes you feel dizzy after and feels like vomiting afterwards.

Spotted the usual Squarepants dude - Spongebob performing on stage. Kids loved the mascots. Dora was there too. Then, the kids went riding in blues skiddos, mighty go-round, and went playing with balls in the rainforest rampage. We also went with the rocket power bumper beach with the kids.

The Mini Zoo in DreamWorld

Then soon after we had lunch, we went to the mini zoo. We saw lots of animals which can only be seen in Australia like the Koalas and Kangaroos. We’ve also seen different species of snakes and birds, dingos, tigers and crocodiles.

The day ended with a pocketful cheers of DreamWorld! This is one of the most unforgettable moments we had in Australia.

See you again in the near future, DreamWorld!
